Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Kadar Vitamin D Neonatus

Latar belakang. Vitamin D beredar dalam darah terutama dalam bentuk 25(OH)D. Vitamin D memegang peran penting dalam berbagai fungsi fisiologis tubuh dan diperkirakan dapat mencegah berbagai kondisi pada neonatus. Defisiensi Vitamin D (DVD) memiliki prevalensi yang cukup tinggi di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia.
Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kadar vitamin D pada neonatus.
Metode. Penelitan cross-sectional terhadap 36 neonatus dilakukan di Semarang. Data dikumpulkan dari pengisian kuesioner dan pemeriksaan kadar 25(OH)D neonatus. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji T tidak berpasangan, uji One Way Anova, dan uji korelasi Spearman.
Hasil. Pada studi ini didapatkan perbedaan signifikan antara usia ibu terhadap kadar 25(OH)D neonatus(p= 0,024 ). Tidak didapatkan perbedaan signifikan dari faktor status gizi ibu (p= 0,588 ), paparan matahari ibu (p= 0,255 ), paparan matahari neonatus (p= 0,227 ), dan tipe diet neonatus (p= 0,470 ) terhadap kadar 25(OH)D neonatus.
Kesimpulan. Usia ibu memberikan perbedaan yang bermakna terhadap kadar vitamin D neonatus. Dibutuhkan penelitian lebih lanjut terkait pengaruh status gizi ibu, suplementasi vitamin D ibu, paparan sinar matahari ibu, paparan sinar matahari neonatus, dan tipe diet neonatus terhadap kadar vitamin D neonatus.
