Profil Klinis dan Luaran Pasien Anak dengan Covid-19 yang Dirawat di Ruang Isolasi Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Balaraja Selama Gelombang Ketiga

Latar belakang. Terdapat peningkatan kasus Covid-19 dan angka rawat inap anak selama gelombang pandemi ketiga di Indonesia, Januari sampai April 2022. Banyak hal baru muncul terkait Covid-19 pada anak, tetapi data dan penelitiannya masih terbatas.
Tujuan. Mengetahui profil klinis dan luaran pasien anak yang dirawat inap dengan Covid-19 selama gelombang ketiga.
Metode. Penelitian observasional deskriptif menggunakan data rekam medis dari pasien anak berusia 0-18 tahun terkonfirmasi Covid-19 dengan tes PCR SARS-CoV-2 di ruang isolasi Covid-19 RSUD Balaraja selama bulan Februari - April 2022.
Hasil. Terdapat 23 pasien, terbanyak (43,5%) berusia 1-5 tahun. Gejala tersering adalah demam <3 hari (78,3%), gejala respiratori (69,6%), gastrointestinal (69,6%), neurologis (52,2%). Diagnosis kerja terbanyak adalah status epileptikus dan kejang demam (34,8%), diare dan vomitus dengan dehidrasi (26,1%). Satu orang meninggal dan rerata lama rawat 6,3+4 hari. Pasien dengan CRP positif lebih banyak yang dirawat lama. Rerata leukosit dan trombosit pada pasien yang dirawat lama adalah 20.940,0+18.197,9/µL dan 477.400+230.402,5/µL.
Kesimpulan. Gejala klinis bervariasi, umumnya lebih dari satu sistem organ. Diagnosis kerja terbanyak berhubungan dengan masalah neurologis. Secara umum luaran pasien baik, pasien dengan gejala respiratori dan CRP positif lebih banyak yang dirawat lama dengan nilai leukosit dan trombosit lebih tinggi.
